Where space is tight and traffic is constant, a bi-folding gate is often the only answer. The leaves fold back on themselves, so a wide opening clears in seconds without the run-back room a sliding gate needs.
Bi-folding (speed) gates open in as little as a few seconds, which keeps queues off the highway and stops tailgating — the single most common way secure sites get breached. That speed makes them a favourite for car parks, urban depots and any entrance directly off a main road.
Our installations use robust PLC control gear with safety photocells and edges throughout, and each gate is specified for its expected daily cycle count so the hardware lasts.
